The Importance of Easter to Me.
For me Easter is day of celebration- Without Jesus dying for my sins I won't be here today- I am thankful for His love, for His grace- His love is so perfect- and He was a perfect sacrifice-as God had laid down the rules for sacrifice in the old testament- only the perfect lamb could be killed as a sacrifice for the atonement for sins for the Israelites- a lamb WITHOUT blemish.
In the same way-Jesus the PERFECT and UNBLEMISHED lamb came to die for our sins- even before you came to be- God had seen you and seen me- he had died years ago for you and I.
I am thankful for His sacrifice- He did not have to die but He chose to because He loves you and I very much- name a person who will chose to die for you?? No one is willing to die for you unless there is something in return for them- Jesus did not want anything in return but for you and I to have eternal life...He loves unconditionally.
You know what- if you want to know what I am talking about- come to my church tomorrow- you will know by the time you walk out after our service- come in at 6.30PM for our concert and church celebration. I want people to see that living for Jesus is freedom- Look around you things are not getting any better- wake up- Jesus is coming!

BREAKING THROUGH!! THANK YOU JESUS!!
It has been a great week- all that we have been praying for last year..God has been answering them-prayer by prayer! God is good!! I kept going back to Jeremiah 29:11 but the next few verses just nailed it..it has been true in our situation...
Jeremiah
29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
29:12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find [me], when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
29:14 And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.
We had been through a lot- but so have many other people- but one thing we are sure of is that if God is on our side- we will do just fine. Looking back the situation before Jesus was like the blind leading the blind and I thought it was all good- hhmm go figure. But God is good! I know He loves me! Looking back at our situation- God was our only option and He still is our only option.

--This Week--
I'm grateful for another day and for the breath of life- So the whole of this week I was stuck on this one verse - Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."
Sometimes life tends to get...dramatic- yes mine tends to do that- but trust me I am soo not a drama queen-unless of course if the situation call for it:)
So anyway back to the point I was trying to make- It has been hard trying to get back into the flow of things and for a time there I was starting to re-evaluate some things in my life- but when I came across this verse- I was like- Back up Jack- well Jill- (cause I'm a girl duh) you know what! GOD IS IN CHARGE, let Him be in charge-quit trying to make back-up plans. I don't know 'bout you but I am a plan B kinda person. Don't get me wrong-Plan B is good but not when you have given the reigns over to God- He has to be your only option!
So I am learning-its hard! It is no fairytale- but the hubby and I both know that He has not brought us this far to leave us- God is good!
